Indigenous AI to Make 1 Lakh Telangana Youth Job-Ready WeXL AI Signs MoU with TASK
Bharat-built AI to build the communication and employability skills of students across Telangana capacity building for the AI and GCC era
Hyderabad, India — In a decisive step to make Telangana’s youth employable for the AI era, WeXL AI (WeXL Edu Limited) and the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) — an initiative of the Department of IT, Electronics & Communications, Government of Telangana — have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build the communication and employability skills of students across the State through an indigenous, made-in-Bharat AI platform.
The MoU was exchanged by Shri Naveen Kumar Linga, Founder & CEO of WeXL AI, and Shri K Nitin Kumar Reddy, CEO of TASK, in the presence of Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana. Shri Anudeep Durishetty, IAS, Joint Secretary to Government, and Shri Vamshi Muthyapu, entrepreneur and social-impact catalyst, were also present.
Capacity Building — The Need of the Hour As Telangana emerges as a global GCC hub creating employment at scale, communication has become the decisive skill separating a degree from a job — and the widest gap in India’s graduate workforce. Under this collaboration, up to 1,00,000 students across Telangana will have their communication and employability skills objectively assessed, coached and certified — at no cost to institutions — turning proficiency into measurable placement outcomes.
Bharat-Built, Sovereign AI WeXL AI’s platform is indigenous and patented, built in Hyderabad with zero dependency on foreign AI. Learner data stays sovereign within India, and the technology is calibrated for Indian speakers — assessing communication fairly, not penalising the Indian accent. Aligned to NEP 2020 and the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, the suite delivers real-time dashboards from State to learner level.

Scale Through TASK TASK’s network of 700–800+ engineering, degree and technical institutions gives the State a scalable, affordable route to raise employability at population scale. Students who clear the defined benchmark receive preference in placement opportunities facilitated through TASK — linking skilling directly to jobs.
